With mac the full screen isn't showing, which was fine until I had to get the humble beginnings pack, and there is no way to drag 3 coins on that top bar. This is a cool game and if there is a fix please let me know.
I love this game, currently on moon 60, however, I just encountered a problem. After summoning the demon with the temple, I had my villagers fight him. At the very end of the fight, the demon got stuck in a wall. I'm not sure how to fix this. it's not game-breaking, since i can keep playing the game with the demon just chilling in the corner doing nothing with just 6 health, but i would like to know if there is a way to fix this issue.
Hi, I really like this game but personally I feel like spawn portals, especially around moon 25, are very strong with most recently I had 3 bears and a couple giant rats spawning at once. Unless you have got really lucky with early game, it is very very difficult to get past that point and makes the game more about trying to avoid hopeless battles rather than progressing.
Garden perhaps ? If you went from Soil to Farm, you must have skipped it Otherwise, please tell me what is the letter range for your lacking one (or send a screen of the missing one, can help :)
i got it working on the mac (m1 air) using these commands in terminal:
cd /Users/MYUSERNAME/Downloads/Stacklands_v1.0.5\ \(macOS\)
(you can replace the thing after cd with wherever the .app is located in your filesystem... the easiest way is to type 'cd' and then drag the containing folder itself into terminal, it'll copy the path right in)
for macOS it keeps launching to a black screen but playing the music and the mouse curse changes. but can't interact with the game in anyway. tried just downloading the game from the web, playing it from the itch app, and thru steam, web won't let me even play the game cause it says the content is damaged. steam and itch app give me the black screen. I would like to play this game but I'm hitting walls everywhere I turn lol. also tried the terminal fix but nothing happened when I typed in the command and hit enter

Interesting game, very frantic. I will say, it would be nice if you could use the coin chest by dragging it over the card packs you want to buy and it takes the money out automatically for you. Or perhaps you could click on the pack buttons and any coins in a chest are automatically sent there.
The chest seems kinda... redundant otherwise. I guess it saves space, but it then requires more effort to use

Hey! I don't usually comment on your games, but Aran, I think you outdid yourself on this game. Seeing you progress in gamedev has been amazing, and this one was definitely a surprise for me. I honestly can't understand why people complain about bugs. I think it had a reasonable launch, specially for itch.
Also, as a simple (in my head) QOL feature, could you add an option to remove physical money? As in, it only appears in the UI, but isn't present in the board. I've 100%'d the game a few times now, and I think it would be a great feature for those who are just grinding the end-game. Also, clicking while an eating animation is happening should skip it imo.
Thank god the sliding cards issue has been solved I guess(didn't try it yet). I hate when monsters or any mobs wandering around, my cards turned to a big mess after I organized it.

Error advising app cannot be opened. Tried following the advice to open a terminal and run chmod 775 Stacklands in the MacOS directory, now error says app is damaged and should be moved to trash.
I would appreciate a drop-down menu for Resolution rather than a click-cycle. It's a pain-point in UX having to flick through resolutions (especially in Fullscreen mode). I might also recommend making the default non-fullscreen.
Also, if you were able to make a version for Linux, that would make me very happy.
Saw a this game on youtube and just had to try it. Loving it so far but have came across some hurdles. Moving cards while paused would be a nice addition but not strictly needed. After a while resources just pile up to an unmanageable level, shift cards everywhere and cause some clipping issues. Since gold doesn't count against the card limit I feel like it'd be easier to manage if it could be changed. Maybe as a count up near the sell slot. Another idea would be something like a socket system off to the side for the more permanent cards like houses, crafting, and resource generators. Just something to open up the field so its not so crowded. Again really enjoying the game and hope it does well!
What a great game! I had so much fun playing it and exploring it. It's like a web browser game I used to play called Alchemy but WAAAAAY better. I really hope you keep expanding it because I could see myself playing this for hours and hours!! Great job so far <3

Game is quite fun however, when it comes to feeding my troops the game seems to prioritize ingredients over end food items. It uses all my onions and carrots first over the stack of stew I have lying right next to my villagers.
When I launch 1.0.3, I immediately get a "new pack unlocked" notification. (There is no main menu.) If I hit "continue", I see the in-game UI, (Quests, Moon timer, etc.) but no cards or area to play them. Pressing tab or space will pause/change the rate that time passes, but I cannot interact in any other way, and the moon time never actually moves. Any idea on how to fix this? Where is the save file located in windows? Can I delete that?
Sorry! If you're okay with clearing your save file, you can do the following:
The save file is stored in the Windows Registry. Open Registry Editor, then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/sokpop/Stacklands, then delete the key that starts with "save_". That should clear your save from outside the game.
The game is nice, one thing that would really make it much more enjoyable would be if we could move things around while we have it paused. As it stands, it becomes next to impossible to manage when you get to late game without having resources pile up left right and center. Up until that point, this game was quite a lot of fun to play!
EDIT: And my one complaint has been addressed. As far as I'm concerned, this game is now perfect and anything y'all add to it is just icing on the cake.

I think that you guys do impressive work with a very limited time frame, but this one was not really ready for release. A lot of bugs here. I'm pretty disappointed. I literally can't play the game after the last update, not because of an error, but because there is no board, and pressing escape doesn't bring up the start menu.

I... managed to avoid fighting altogether by spamming things everywhere. Not sure if this is a bug or intended behavior, but even on paused screen, things will collide with each other and wiggle.

The game looks very cool but I'm on mac and the game doesn't open for me. I've tried a lot of things but can't get it to open.
Try the following:
- right-click program -> show package content
- navigate to Contents/MacOs
- Open Terminal in that directory
- Type -> "chmod 775 Stackland"

Great game. Completed game on 3rd run. On 1st run game freezed and crashed. So on 2nd run i have erased the save and begin fresh.
