Might be that it's actually glass! Glass reflects whatever is next to it, so it kind of looks like something in a bubble!

Just looking at it the way I'd recreate it is through marching squares. Sebastian Lague has a video on the topic. The adding some noise to the vertecies to make it more worbly.

(you feed a sun piece to the moon)I cannot figure out how to get wood/grow a tree. Can I get a bit of help
You have to unlock the acorn to get a tree. If you feed a snail leaves you should get the missing ingredient.
