make free plz I like dis game but cannot play it I watched yt vids of it, and really want this game for my birthday but no one wants to get me it. plus it would be wrong to gift me this on my birthday so plz make this free

Good game but the initial controls are very unclear, which makes the game very unapproachable. E.g. the player needs to magically guess to press escape?!

Thank you! You mean to open the menu? It is not really required, and you can also click on the sun and drag the camera around to see the menu.

That's fair, I also mean more generally though. I feel that often Sokpop games however awesome they are you have to infer what the controls are. As someone who'd never played old console games, pressing zxc randomly and it working surprised on occasion until I got used to it. My general preference is that spelling controls out for your grandma is better even if you're not designing a game for your grandma. This is my opinion of course, so up to you. (great game still :D)

hot

oh man i want it but im poor

i have no money but i really want it

The art looks so cute! In fact, all your games have this unique simple-cute style. Keep up the good work ^^

Does this work on Samsung Chromebooks?

Short answer is no, because Chromebooks can't run .exe files. You could maybe find a workaround but it would be very hard!

Oh, thank you anyways! I'll try to find a workaround and I will let you know if I am able to.
I can not use my regular computer because that thing is way too slow to even run minesweeper

Nice story keep it up!

FRAPS will cause this game to be not responding upon opening.

I bought on steam and every time I try to open the game it just turn into white screen and not responding. After closing FRAPS it finally turns on!

Please fix or note it to others!

Thanks for the report, making a new patch that fixes this issue now!

Hey friend, loving the game!

Two questions though:

Twigs don't seem to be flammable, and yet the game says they burn into ashes? Tried to light them on fire with lightning, matches, lava, burning coal, no dice.

Poop says it turns into fertilizer when irrigated, but doesn't interact with water or puddles?

I planned to buy this game soon! This game is very interesting for me.

(Edit: I got it!!)

I'm surrounded by people actually good at coding, lol.

Thanks for the report, that makes sense. Will patch it out in 1.4!

(Edit: fixed it!)

THE HUMAN GOT TOO POWERFULL.

THE POWER OF THE ROCK

Hey, I'm trying run the game using the itch launcher, but every time I try, I get this error message about how there isn't enough memory  to run the game even after I uninstalled some programs or that I have a corrupted file cabinet. I've tried reinstalling the game twice now, but I keep running into this same issue. Is this a bug on my end, or is it a problem with the game in its current state?

(1 edit)

Hey, sorry you're having trouble with the game. I don't seem to be able to try out the game through the itch launcher without buying it myself, so I can't find the problem. Does the game work if you download it separately?

Yes, it seems to be able to run when I downloaded it and ran it separately from the launcher. I sill ran into some error messages, but they didn't seem to prevent me from running the program.

Hello! We are trying to run the game, but it freezes after the sun asks us to find him 3 pieces of coal. We're on Mac OS 11.6 and we have version 1.2.0. Thanks!

We also took the game out of quarantine as well using your instructions. Thanks!

I also heard from someone else having this issue, working on a fix right now! Thanks for your report.

(Edit: uploaded version 1.3 that should work just now!)

Enjoying it, but ran into a recurring crash that occurs fairly regularly when dropping stones into the sun.

Thank you, working on a fix right now!

(Edit: fixed this in version 1.2!)

Thank you for fixing that so quickly.

Had a more random crash occur just now, and thought I'd forward that crash report, too.

Sorry for another crash error report, but this one was more nasty.

Awhile after saving and quitting, I clicked the game shortcut to play, and crashed  attempting to launch the game.

After trying a few things that didn't work, I ended up deleting my save files, and reinstalling the game.

Thanks for the report! I think I found the problem, it's when an object somehow is not on a planet, not orbiting anything, and not in inventory. Fix will be up soon!

(Edit: version 1.3 is now up. I couldn't reproduce the bug, but added an extra check in the code where the game crashed. Hopefully that will be enough!)
